🔎 Due Diligence Guidance
For Operators
SecuSearch connects you directly with companies and training providers - but verification is not carried out through the app. You are responsible for completing your own checks before accepting work or booking any course. Before agreeing to a role, ensure you:
* Confirm the company’s full trading name, registered address, and contact details.
* Ask for an assignment confirmation or booking form in writing.
* Check legitimacy via Companies House, website, or professional presence.
* Clarify pay rate, terms, and who is responsible for payment.
* Never share personal documents (e.g. passport, SIA licence copy) unless you’re certain who you’re dealing with.
* Report any suspicious or unprofessional approaches to [email protected].
SecuSearch helps you find opportunities safely and privately - but your due diligence protects your data, finances, and reputation. For Companies
SecuSearch allows you to search for and message operators who match your exact criteria - without posting public job details. However, operator verification is not conducted through the app. You must carry out your own checks before engagement. Before confirming an operator, we recommend you:
* Request proof of SIA licence and relevant qualifications.
* Verify identity and right-to-work documentation directly.
* Ask for references or previous work examples.
* Confirm insurance status where applicable.
* Clearly outline pay terms, reporting structure, and site details in writing.
* Report any misuse or misrepresentation to [email protected].
SecuSearch gives you a private, targeted way to connect - your checks ensure those connections are professional and secure. For Course Bookings / Training Providers
SecuSearch includes a Course Directory to help you find training opportunities relevant to your qualifications and goals. All course listings are added by providers. We do not verify or endorse individual courses or providers, so please complete your own checks before booking. Before paying for or attending a course:
* Confirm the provider’s full name, website, and contact details.
* Check that the course is approved or recognised by the relevant awarding body.
* Review refund and cancellation policies before payment.
* Avoid transferring money to personal accounts unless you have verified legitimacy.
* Contact the provider directly for written confirmation of course dates, content, and certification. Our Shared Standard
SecuSearch is a connection tool - not a verification service or employment agency. We provide a private and efficient platform for operators, companies, and training providers to connect, but all users remain responsible for their own due diligence before engaging, hiring, or booking.
Taking these steps ensures professionalism, protects your data, and helps raise standards across the security industry.
